Work all the stitches in knit stitch

Row 1: Cast on 3 stitches
Row 2: Knit 2, yarn over, knit 1 (4 stitches)
Row 3: Knit all the stitches (knit taking the back loop on the yarn over) (4 stitches)
Row 4: Knit to the last stitch before the end, yarn over, knit 1 (5 stitches)
Row 5: Knit all the stitches (knit taking the back loop on the yarn over) (7 stitches)
Row 6: Knit to the last stitch before the end, yarn over, knit 1 (7 stitches)
Row 7: Knit all the stitches (knit taking the back loop on the yarn over) (8 stitches)
Row 8: Knit to the last stitch before the end, yarn over, knit 1 (8 stitches)
Row 9: Knit all the stitches (knit taking the back loop on the yarn over) (9 stitches)
Row 10: Knit to the last stitch before the end, yarn over, knit 1 (9 stitches)
Row 11: Knit all the stitches (knit taking the back loop on the yarn over) (10 stitches)
Row 12: Knit to the last stitch before the end, yarn over, knit 1 (10 stitches)
Row 13: Bind off 3 stitches, knit all the stitches (knit taking the back loop on the yarn over) (8 stitches)
Row 14: Knit to the last stitch before the end, yarn over, knit 1 (8 stitches)
Row 15: Knit all the stitches (knit taking the back loop on the yarn over) (9 stitches)
Row 16: Knit to the last stitch before the end, yarn over, knit 1 (9 stitches)
Row 17: Knit all the stitches (knit taking the back loop on the yarn over) (10 stitches)

Continue repeating rows with increases and rows with no increases, and rows binding off stitches

– Make 12 more rows. Bin off 4 stitches
– Make 14 more rows. Bin off 5 stitches
– Make 16 more rows. Bin off 6 stitches
– Make 18 more rows. Bin off 7 stitches
– Make 20 more rows. Bin off 8 stitches
Always add 2 more rows on each stair, and bind off 1 extra stitch

Repeat to have the size that you prefer
