chain 40
Row 1: 39 half double crochet, in the corner, 5 half double crochet, 39 half double crochet on the other side of the chain. Turn at the end of each row
Row 2: 40 half double crochet, 3 half double crochet increase, 40 half double crochet
Row 3: 40 half double crochet, repeat 3 times (1 half double crochet, 1 increase), 40 half double crochet
Row 4: With the bean stitch (see the video), make 19 bean stitch, 1 increase, repeat 2 times (2 bean stitch, 1 increase), 19 bean stitch
Row 5: 19 bean stitch, 1 increase, repeat 2 times, (3 bean stitch, 1 increase), 19 bean stitch
Rows 6-8: 1 bean stitch on each bean stitch, and make 1 increase on each increase (3 increases per row) (60 bean stitch at the end of the row 8)
Row 9: Back loops only, 1 half double crochet on each stitch (on the bean and on the chain), 1 increase on each increase
Row 10: 1 half double crochet around (no increases)
Row 11: Repeat the bean stitch taking the back loops, 21 bean stitch, 1 increase, 8 bean stitch, 1 increase, 8 bean stitch, 1 increase, 21 bean stitch
Rows 12-15: Repeat the bean stitch, making increases on the increases. Finish with 21 bean stitch, 1 increase, 12 bean stitch, 1 increase, 12 bean stitch, 1 increase, 21 bean stitch.
On the last row of the bean stitch, when you are making the increase of the top of the clutch, make a chain 6 between the 2 stitches of the increase
